DAS PORTRÄT
Für den Porträtist ist das Porträtzeichnen eine große Herausforderung.
Der Porträtist betrachtet die Person aus verschiedenen Perspektiven und erforscht regelrecht die Seele seines Gegenüber und ist bis zur Vollendung permanent auf Neuentdeckung.
Leider lassen sich nicht alle Menschen porträtieren, weil wer sich porträtieren lässt und sich das erste Mal bewusst betrachtet, entdeckt alle seine "Ecken und Kanten".
Das Porträt ist das lebendige Selbstbildnis!
Es ist wie im "Das Bildnis des Dorian Gray" von Oscar Wilde, die Geschichte verläuft hier etwas anders. Man altert selbst im Laufe der Jahre und das Porträt hingegen bleibt für immer jung.
Ein Porträt ist nicht nur zwischen Modell und Künstler eine sehr persönliches unsichtbares Band auf einem Blatt Papier. Es enthält eine Aussage an alle Betrachter.
Was diese Aussage ist, ist genau das, was Jeder für sich selbst herausfinden soll.
THE PORTRAIT
Drawing a portrait is a very big challenge for the portraitist.
The portraitist regards his model from many different perspectives in which he researches the whole personality even up to his soul.
Unfortunately not very many people let themselves be drawn and the main reason is, because those who do let themselves be portrayed, observe themselves intensively and then discover their personality with all their rough edges.
The portrait is the living self image!
It is like in "The picture of Dorian Gray" from Oscar Wilde. This story takes another path, the model becomes older throughout the years and the portrait on the other hand, stays young.
A portrait, is not only a very personal unseen bond between the model and the artist which was put on a sheet of paper. It is also an artist statement to all observers who look at the portrait at the end.
What this statement is, that is what each person has to find out for himself.
